Dalin Oliver (Cape Town)
Comedian, Corporate MC and radio personality (Good Hope FM’s Breakfast Show), Oliver has captured audiences far and wide with his funny, clean-cut, energetic brand of humor.
From sold-out one-man shows, to touring with some of the biggest names in the country (Riaad Moosa, Barry Hilton, Stuart Taylor), to being featured on Comedy Central and recording his first DVD Special, the man has enjoyed overwhelming success.
He even recently played the lead role in his first feature film – Finders Keepers – which released in cinemas across SA in 2016.

Mona Aburmishan (USA)
Mona is an internationally acclaimed Muslim comedian based in her hometown of Chicago.
She has performed, emceed, and produced comedy shows, competitions and events in major clubs, theaters and universities around the world.
Having lived and worked around the world, Mona uses her global insight and homegrown Chicago-style to offer a fresh look at shifting frustration into funny.
Most notably, Mona became the first Arab and Muslim woman to perform stand-up comedy in the nation’s most prestigious institutions: twice at the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, DC and Carnegie Hall in New York City!
Currently, Mona is back home touring the US, having just completed her Summer tour throughout the West Bank, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
As an international producer, host and headliner, Mona in less than one week performed and produced 9 shows spanning Palestine, Switzerland, and the heart of London’s thriving comedy scene.
While in London, Mona was a special featured guest honoring her self-produced tour on “Islam Channel” as a thriving female Muslim in global entertainment which was broadcast to over 100 countries.
In addition to regularly performing in the US, Canada, EU, UK and the Middle East, Mona is a sought-after headliner on the African continent.
Becoming a regular in the South African market, Mona just recently headlined one of the world’s top ten comedy establishments – The Cape Town Comedy Club and has returned to tour the entire South African region again performing as well as promoting her one woman show set for February 2019 in Cape Town.
Long John (Zimbabwe)
Long John (real name, Learnmore Mwanyenyeka) is a funny guy!
The last 8 years have seen him rise from “Zimbabwean funnyman” to “acclaimed African comedian”, with sterling performances all over SA and the UK.
He has shared the stage with some of the biggest comics in Africa (Riaad Moosa, Ane Kansiime, Loyiso Gola, to name a few) and is definitely one to watch out for!
Charming, honest and ridiculously funny, the man is a delight to watch!
Neil Green (Dbn)
After a decade in the comedy industry, Green has garnered a reputation as one of Durban’s funniest comedians, and is indeed a rising star in the SA comedy industry.
Not only a highly sought-after comedian and accomplished MC, he is also a highly respected East Coast Radio DJ with a growing following!
Green’s sharp wit, commanding stage presence, packed-out one-man shows (‘I’m Ill’; ‘Last Boss’) and hilariously honest take on life have won him legions of fans throughout the country.
Look out for this guy!

Jem Atkins (DBN)
Arguably one of the funniest entertainers we know…this Durban local has been hosting and headlining shows for several years now!
His hit one-man shows – “Single Dad” & “Single Dad II”- received rave reviews in 2014/2015, and he has since performed all over the country with some of the biggest names in the industry.
This guy is very entertaining!
Mohammad Vawda (DBN)
He’s only been on the Durban comedy scene for a few years, but already this proudly Muslim comedian is showing he has what it takes!
With a confident stage presence and 100% clean, well thought-out gags, he is charming and undeniably funny!
His beat-boxing skills, spot-on accents and hilarious stories have made him popular across all ages and demographics as he amasses a huge following in Durban.
He has toured the country and performed with the biggest names in the industry.
Most recently, he was personally chosen by Riaad Moosa to be his opening act in Durban, and also performed on Riaad Moosa and Friends at the 2500-seater Globe theatre, receiving fantastic reviews!
